Notes
Pedigree, power and performance. An ET son out of the powerhouse dam N063, who also bred Injemira Robert Redford Q287, the family tree doesn’t get much more blue chip. On top of this Neptune is very much the type of bull we are trying to produce, with a clean skin, mobility to cover country and plenty of softness and top. This is all backed by strong curve bending numbers, milk and yield data. Purchased in 2025 for $30,000 and joined over heifers, his first progeny will start to hit the ground in the Spring of 2026.

Notes
Purchased from the 2025 annual sale for $35,000 Heidelberg is a real all rounder. He is a bull with balance, that is really well put together with strength through his quarter and great carriage through his neck and shoulders. He again has strength of carcass and softness, with a strong set of data across the board.

Notes
The strong sires head, hooded eye and exceptionally smooth skin of this bull is exactly why he is so well suited to CQ and our operation. On top of this he offers our herd strength of carcass and heaps of softness. We purchased Scooby Doo for the second top price at the Injemira sale in 2026, and are excited to get him up here, acclimatised and joined for some calves in 2027.

Notes
S204 is a homozygous polled bull that we purchased for $40,000 in 2023 in partnership with Rayleigh Poll Herefords. Robert Redford is an easy doing sire, with length, lift and carcase. Sired by the $160,000 Australian record breaker from 2021, S204 combines a blue chip pedigree, with outstanding EBV data. He was the standout sire prospect we viewed that year.

Notes
Purchased from the annual Yalgoo production sale for $40,000 in 2024, Tambo offered us something a little bit out of the box. A performance bull with extra length and lift, that offers a really strong sirey head. His EBVs are just outstanding across the board – with calving ease, 400DW & 600DW and fertility traits within the top 5% of the breed, as well as having strong carcass indicators. His first calves have now been weaned and look really promising. Bulls will be for sale in 2027.

Notes
A homebred sire that we just couldn’t part with. This bull is exactly what we are trying to breed – he has a smooth skin and strong sires head, he has weight gain performance, a tonne of carcass and still maintains softness. On top of this he is extremely well put together with bone and a tidy sheath. Backed by the maternal strength of one of our leading performance dams and a very balanced set of EBVs, it is safe to say we are excited to have him join our sire battery in 2026.

Notes
A really interesting sire here, that we purchased to keep that length and lift in our herd. U035 is an extremely mobile sire, with neck extension and great carriage through his front end. He is a bull that really covers the paddock, but still maintains his condition well. He again has a strong sires head, and plenty of carcass. First progeny to hit the ground later in 2026. Watch this space.

This sire is a real powerhouse, from the renowned New Zealand stud Koanui. Layer was selected for his structure and performance, with plenty of length, bone and carcase. He is also a very mobile bull, making him well suited to our QLD environment. Layer has been used heavily through AI with his first bulls to be sold at Jarrah in 2026.

Notes
An imported sire with huge depth of carcase. We were really impressed by the length of quarter and evenness of this bull. He has been selectively used over some leading cows for two years through AI. His first bulls sold very strongly in our 2025 bull sale, with another strong offering presenting in 2026.

Notes
The Australian Hereford record breaking sire. What a milestone this bull has achieved for the Hereford breed after selling for $160,000 at the 50th Annual Injemira Production Sale. Jarrah Genetics was losing bidder on this powerful genetic package. We were so sure of this bull, that we quickly negotiated and secured a share. Q287 has many of the attributes that we focus on with his exceptional skin and hair, extreme carcass and is listed in the prestigious Herefords Australia Super Sire program. On top of this he has breed leading EBVs with low birth weight, calving ease, high growth, EMA and IMF. This bull has really left his mark on our breeding program, and allowed us to continue to produce top quality bulls and females that are suited to CQ with phenotype and data.

Notes
An exciting, outcross sire from the US that we bought semen in to use over heifers. He demonstrates plenty of style and thickness, which we are seeing coming through strongly in his progeny. A moderate birthweight bull, with strong growth and carcass numbers to offer something different to our herd. First sons will sell in 2027.
