Jarrah Genetics 9th Annual Bull Sale 2021 Results
Hereford bulls hit $29,000 to average $11,142 while Jarrah Reds averaged $13,030 selling to a high of $18,000 at Monday's Jarrah Genetics sale, Banana.
It was an unseasonably brisk day at Glenarchy, Banana, but this didn't deter the crowds from attending the Becker family's ninth annual Jarrah Genetics bull sale. Records for the stud were achieved in both breeds, reaching the highest top price and average across both the Hereford and Jarrah Red drafts of bulls.
Ending in another complete clearance, the result saw 24 rising two-year-old Hereford bulls top at $29,000 to set an $11,083 average, and 11 yearling counterparts averaging $11,272, selling to a top of $19,000.
Thirty three Jarrah Reds sold to set a $13,030 average and topped at $18,000, resulting in an overall $4243 boost to last year's sale result.
